The workshop, which was led by Artistic Director Lydia Adams, featured works by Canadian composers Eleanor Daley and Srul Irving Glick. The workshop closed with a short performance by the 20-voice choir, which is based in Toronto. Janet Brenneman, Assistant Professor of Music at CMU, was “thrilled that the Elmer Iseler Singers and their conductor, Lydia Adams, chose to spend this time with the CMU Choirs.” The visit, she says, was “a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience singing and working with this highly accomplished group of professional singers. Lydia Adams' commitment to quality music-making, her musicianship and her passion for the music was evident in her ability to inspire the students throughout the workshop.” Click thumbnails below to see enlarged images and to view captions.
