Featuring Elmer Iseler Singers and TBS Chorus | Lydia Adams conducting
Glorious sounds await you as two great choirs merge to present Joseph Haydn’s masterpiece, The Creation. Considered one of his most brilliant works, the oratorio depicts the creation of the world as described in the Book of Genesis. Combining beautiful vocal writing with his mature classical symphony style, Haydn created the most magnificent oratorio of his time.
Lydia Adams and the Elmer Iseler Singers celebrate their 40th Anniversary with a tour of Ontario, and by joining with the Thunder Bay Symphony Chorus in this spectacular concert.
Tickets are available at the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra website, and in person at Fireweed Crafts, 182 Algoma St.; Music World Academy, 443 Simpson St; or from any TBS Chorus member.
