St. Mark’s has been the main venue each Summer for Music Niagara, since the Festival’s inception in 1998
St. Mark’s rich, historic past, dates back to 1790, when two residents wrote to Bishop Inglis of Nova Scotia requesting that a clergyman be sent to minister to the residents of the new village.

Atis Bankas, Artistic Director, is not only a frequent recitalist during Music Niagara’s Summer Festival but he is a guest instrumentalist at St. Mark’s throughout the year. The building’s superior acoustics and fine instruments makes St. Mark’s a favourite setting for musical performers and audience members alike.
For more than two decades Music Niagara and St. Marks have inspired audiences with rich history and culture.
